Whats good, I am Steven “Aonxe” Holder. Aonxe is my gamer handle that I have had for the last 5 or 6 years. I am a 19 year old college student at Columbus State University and I come from Georgia. I am currently seeking my BA in Chemistry / Pre-Med in preparation for Medical School in few years. I was going to do computer science but I have always wanted to be a doctor and I figure that being a doctor will be a profession with more satisfaction than being a programmer.
Nothing against programming though, as that is currently my occupation. I am a freelance web programmer and I work with a variety of people/firms that I have met over the years at various events. I do PHP/MySQL but I am currently learning, leisurely, Ruby on Rails and some various other languages. I am also fluent with XML, JS, Java, and AJAX technologies.
Now to my experience as a gamer, I started on RTS games such as Warcraft II and Starcraft then I started playing Warcraft III: TFT exclusively. I was big on ladder games for a while but now I normally just play Defense of the Ancients or other custom maps. I used to play World of Warcraft and I was one of those hardcore raiders that pushed content, my guild was in the top 10 to kill C-thun back in the day. I kicked the WoW habit about 8 months after the expansion launched because I didn’t like how they watered down the things I liked best about the game. Now I play Call of Duty 4, Age of Conan, Team Fortress 2, and DoTA plus any other Flavor of the Month games I come across. I await Warhammer Online with baited breath. I’m back with WoW waiting for Wrath of the Lich King to drop.
